Questions & Answers

This receptacle (PS5100R-7W). When using 480V 3ph power, is it safe to connect and disconnect the plug (PS5100P-7W) from this receptacle without an interrupt at this terminal? If so, can you share how it is made safe?

Asked by: Hector
This device has been tested for making and breaking a circuit at it's rated voltage and current. However, it is still good electrical practice to de-energize the circuit before "unplugging".
